When it comes to New Year’s Eve, there seem to be two types of people: those that go all out with sequins, party hats, confetti, and more, and those that prefer a relaxing night where they may or may not make it to midnight to watch the ball drop. Luckily in our wonderful community, there is something for everyone, no matter how you prefer to ring in the new year!

New Year’s Eve at the Birchmere
Photo from Seldom Scene
The Birchmere is the perfect destination for dinner and a show on New Year’s Eve. Enjoy the sound of bluegrass from The Seldom Scene, The Eastman String Band, and The Plate Scrapers. My favorite part about The Birchmere is that the wait staff brings your dinner and drinks right to your seat next to the stage. But remember, arrive early as seats are first come, first served.
