Making sure your home shows its absolute best is an important component to achieving the highest possible sales price. Most of the time, the way our property shows when it is on the market is not the way we really live. This is where staging comes into play.
The concept of staging ranges from cleaning and touch-up paint to more dramatic changes like rearranging furniture or even bringing in all new furniture.
When it comes to staging, there is no “one size fits all approach.” What you need depends not only on your home but also the target market. As part of my services I will take a close look at your home and work with you to put together a game plan. I partner with painters, handymen, contractors, interior design professionals and certified home stagers who can take care of anything that needs to be done.
Here are some of the possible options:
Walkthrough & Checklist – We’ll conduct a thorough walk-through of your home and provide you with a punch-list of areas to de-clutter or reorganize. We’ll also make a list of suggested repairs or maintenance items.
Occupied Enhancement – If this option is right for you we’ll bring in a staging partner to make recommendations about furniture placement, paint colors, decorative accessories and other small changes.
Full Staging – We call this full staging but it can also pertain to just selected rooms. If your home is vacant, we could furnish the entire home with rugs, lamps, decorative accessories and furniture. There is typically an additional cost associated with this. If your home isn’t vacant but staging is needed in just a few rooms, we can do that too.
