Incorporating house plants into your decor is a quick and powerful way to add new color, shape and style to any space.  Nobody does this better than my friend, Shiloh, who has artfully woven fun and interesting plants into the decor throughout her home.  She has them in all kinds of interesting containers.  You can really feel their presence in every room and they make her lovely spaces feel extra special.   I notice them every time I visit her house and I thought it would be fun to share some photos.

Not only are houseplants pretty to look at but they can actually benefit your health in a variety of different ways.

Studies have shown having plants reduces stress levels

House plants scrub indoor air pollutants

Research shows that having plants around can help you heal faster from injuries

House plants are known to stimulate the creative juices

Studies from the American Horticultural Therapy Association suggest that having houseplants can help us concentrate better

They release moisture into the air as part of their breathing process which makes your home less dry in the winter months.
