Pre-qualifying For a Loan
The initial pre-approval typically involves a ten minute phone conversation with a mortgage lender. I can refer you to my team of trusted lending professionals who will discuss the various financing options available based on your credit and income.
Your Wish List
The first step is to explore different neighborhoods and determine where you would like to be geographically. Then figure out your wish list. Think about the must-haves and the must-not-haves. What can you live with and what can you live without? We’ll get together and discuss all of the features you are looking for in your ideal home. Based on these preferences, I’ll set up a custom MLS search which will deliver real-time property listings straight to your inbox.
House hunting will include screening listings electronically, previewing properties online, and then finally going out to look at homes. This is the fun part and its your opportunity to get to know different neighborhoods and ask questions.
Making the Offer
Once we’ve found you the perfect house, it’s time to discuss the offer. I’ll run a market analysis based on recent neighborhood sales data we will develop a strategy for the offer. I take care of all of the paperwork and negotiate the best price and terms for you.
Contract to Closing
My team will handle all of the paperwork and coordination to get you from contract to closing. This includes inspections, appraisals, surveys and attorneys. We’ll take care of all of the details and schedule a final walkthrough with you prior to closing. I’ll accompany you to the closing where you’ll sign the papers and receive keys to your new home.
